New River Wrap-Up.....

Happy Thursday afternoon.  We just wanted to make a post to wrap-up our mountain trip.

We basically broke camp Tuesday evening.  The Visor and Cottonwood were all dry, as well as, our patio mat.  So we took everything down and put them away.  The Super Dollar Tree called and they did have Trisha's special totes she wanted.   So our plan was to leave the campground Wednesday morning, pick up the totes, breakfast, and be on our way home.

And that was just what we did.  What a beautiful morning it was too.  Of course, our route home took us on the BRP for about 15 miles.  The weather was perfect, the views were priceless, plus no traffic at all.  What a perfect way to end our time in the mountains.

Rob only stopped once for pictures which is unusual.  He said he has hundreds of pictures of the BRP and he doesn't want to take too many so there will be some to take next time.  HAHA!

He made a quick stop by Camping World in Statesville, where Jackson got to do a little shopping too.

He picked out his very own "Dog" themed Tervis Tumbler.

Soon we were back home to deal with rain showers, thunderstorms, hair wilting humidity, mosquitoes, and grass growing faster than Rob can keep it mowed.

Thanks for checking by today.  Cousins Sharon and Becky are driving down Saturday morning, so Sharon and Rob can construct her a lamp post.

Until next time, stay safe out there.....-R,T,&J.
