Our Latest Update......

As time passes us by, we change and our needs change.  For lots of reasons, all good, we decided to trade our r-Pod in on a newer, somewhat larger, camper.  After quite a bit of searching, we settled on a 2017 Surveyor 201RBS, named Miss Anne.  After our first two trips, we're loving camping with Miss Anne.

Equipment Update.....

We suppose it's about time we did a little update to this page of our blog.  Back at the very end of August 2015, we traded Truck on a new tow vehicle.  The new truck has come to be known as Levi.  Levi is a 2015 F-150 4x4 SuperCrew Cab.  He has the HO 5.0 Liter engine, six-speed transmission, a bigger back seat for J-Doggie, and lots and lots more buttons, bells, whistles.  Levi is proving to be a great tow beast in his own right.

More Info......

We have a 2010 r-Pod Model 175 travel trailer that we just love. The mighty tow beast is a 2007 Ford F-150. We enjoy this set-up very much. While we have only been as far west as Lexington, Kentucky with the r-pod, we took our prior camper (a pop-up) all the way to Seattle, WA. to visit family in the summer of 2008. We so enjoyed that trip, we plan on doing it again with the pod. We are both school teachers, so having the summer off does help.
