Meanwhile, Staying at Home with the Peeps........

Happy Sunday morning everyone.  Its Miss Anne here blogging to you from my home, the Anne-Port down in the back yard.  The Mr. is listening to RHC church on Facebook Live, and the Mrs. is taking a nap.

Yes, a nap on Sunday morning.  Its ok though, she was up late last night.  You see her dad had to be taken to the hospital for a health issue.  He was checked out, given meds, etc., and send home to the assisted living facility where he now lives.  The Mrs. finally got to bed about one-ish this morning.  While she didn't actually go to the hospital, she was in constant contact via phone.

I've been keeping myself safe at home, socially distancing and snoozing, etc., getting ready for my RHC days once again.  While the Mr. can take me up, at this point in time, he has to take everything he will need with him.  You see, while we are welcome in the campground itself, the site-holders have been asked to stay in the campground and not be out and about in the community just yet.  This all means, we've made no firm plans yet for my return to RHC.

Ok, so that's all the so-so news and updates.  Now to the fun stuff.  You know, the latest MODS!!!  Seems the Mr. and Mrs. have been eyeing the folding steps on Mark and Susie's Furpod2.  So after talking camping friend Jon into buying them for his Surveyor, the Mr. just had to buy me a set also.

Sure enough, on this past Friday afternoon late, the steps arrived, and in about an hour and a half, my old steps were removed, the new steps unboxed and installed, and everything put away.   Here's some pictures of all the fun....

To briefly explain, I did have two sets of entry steps onboard.  The Mr. had installed a set of MORryde brand steps that folded into my doorway.  They were ok, but had their disadvantages.  He had never removed my factory folding steps, just incase they were needed.

With both set of steps removed, he unboxed the new TorkLift steps, using Double AA as a work area, and in short order had my new steps installed.

Lastly, you can see a few pictures of them folded for travel and storage, and deployed for use.  I think everyone is going to like my new steps.  I'm sure glad not to have those other folding steps rattling around inside me when we're traveling, not to mention the dirt and debris that fell off of them when stowed.

Well that's about it for today!!  Keep safe everyone as best you can and....

Until next time, stay safe out there......R,     T,      &       J.
