We got out of Landis this morning about 9:00 am after having breakfast at Porky's. We stopped at the Pee Dee National Wildlife Refuge for a quick bathroom break...
We stopped once more at the second "official" Myrtle Beach welcome center for another pit stop, stopped for Gas at Murrell's Inlet, and then we arrived at Huntington Beach State Park shortly after 1 pm. The trip was great, not much traffic even at the beach.
Over the next two hours we set up our full spread, dome, cottonwood, ice maker, flagpole, lamp post, plus electric, water, and sewer hook-ups. Oh wow, we're in high cotton for sure.
After we got set up and rested a bit, Rob cleaned up and we splurged and went out to eat for dinner. We normally only go out to eat for lunch at the coast because it's usually much less expensive.
Our restaurant of choice when we're at HBSP is the Inlet Crab House and Raw Bar....
We even splurged a little bit more and both bought t-shirts from there...
Afterwards, we made a special stop which we'll tell you about tomorrow when we introduce a new member of team R&T.
Also, a very special shoutout to Cousin Sharon....you're in our prayers for tomorrow, hoping all goes well!!!
Be sure to tune in tomorrow to see what all goes down here at HBSP.
Until next time, stay safe out there.....-R,T,&J.
Thanks Cuz...you're the best! Remember when we all ate @ Inlet Crab House during our Nov. camping trip? Was that your first time there and also HBSP? I will be in touch Tuesday evening. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteQuestion: where was the photo taken of the two of you sitting in the huge beach chairs? I'm thinking it could be a cool photo opp for the Coastal Caravan!
