Happy early Saturday morning all. It's Pod here once again taking over the blogging duties. I spent last evening talking with Levi and catching up on all that Rob and Trisha have been up to the last couple of days. It seems they've been too busy having fun to even think about blogging. I think I have it all straight, so here goes.
The 2016 ERU (Eastern Round-Up) officially kicked-off on Thursday with the hot dog supper. Everyone had a great time, with lots of yummy food, and even a bunch of door prizes. I even got new keyed alike (but not keyed like every other camper) locks for my cargo hatch doors. The best part is they were FREE!! Thanks to Mr. Bruce, the owner of Bauer Products. Just click on the linky thing and you will find out all about them.
Thursday was a mostly a "down" day for the gang. I think they all needed a day to just be lazy, nap, talk and what-not. Mr. Mark and Mr. Rob took off to run a couple of errands, became "locationally challenged" for a minute, but arrived back here in plenty of time for the hot dog supper.
Friday the whole gang, Tink, Tank's Mom, furpod people and the Mr. and Mrs. all loaded up in Levi, had breakfast out, and went to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. They had a blast, and of course Levi got to see all the sights too!
Friday evening was supper at Culver's, a favorite of Trisha's, then the gang all just rode around the Traverse City downtown area. Levi told me they even hit a store where t-shirts, stickers, hats, and even a couple toy pigs were bought. I'm not sure about the pig toys, cause Levi didn't know to much about that either. I'll try to find out more and let you know. I do know it had something to do with some moose's...
And speaking of stickers, Levi told me there are at least a dozen new stickers in his glove compartment from the last few days here in T.C.
This should catch everyone up to this morning. I think I hear people and dogs moving about and even breakfast plans being discussed. So I'd better send you some pictures and get off this computer before Mr. R catches me.
That's about it for today. I'm sure the whole gang will be up to lots of fun things today and I'll be sure to snitch the computer to let you know all about it too. The 2016 ERU is officially over on Sunday, and we'll be starting the long trek (about 980 miles) back to North Carolina soon atferwards.
Until next time, stay safe out there......-Pod and all the gang!!
