As we were preparing for the hotdog cook-out this afternoon, Rob overheard Travis(Moose-Pod) asking Mark(Furpod) about how Mark had his running light on his pod burning without being hooked up to his tow vehicle. So Mark took Travis over to Furpod to show Travis his special handy-dandy light control box he had built. Be looking for Mark to show pictures of it on the Nation. Rob of course had to show Travis the handy-dandy light control he had built for his pod. Then to make Travis insanely jealous, Mark and Rob turned on the running lights of their pods even though it was only about 5:30 in the evening. Here's a picture of R&T's Pod all lit up.
For the next several hours of the cookout, people kept telling both Mark and Rob, "did you know the lights on your pod are burning?"
Finally, Mark and Rob slipped over to the Moose-Pod and using a fuse, fixed the Moose-Pod so it's lights were also lit. Travis was so excited when he discovered this. Later about dark, we all discovered that Moose-Pod would take the best lit award if we were actually having a contest for the rally!!
Of course, there was cornhole, great food, and lots of visiting going on during all this time, but that's tomorrow's post. Have a great Saturday and until next time, stay safe out there....-R,T,&J.
The jealousy continues, I can't wait to see how many toggle switches I can put on one of those boxes. That was so funny when I saw my running lights on too, great great great times!!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow the MoosePod really is pretty bright, I'll have to see about getting lights up on the roof next!
Hmmm....lights on the roof, don't you think that might alert the mothership to a potential "situation" HAHAHA...
