Happy early Saturday morning all. It's Pod here once again taking over the blogging duties. I spent last evening talking with Levi and catching up on all that Rob and Trisha have been up to the last couple of days. It seems they've been too busy having fun to even think about blogging. I think I have it all straight, so here goes.
The 2016 ERU (Eastern Round-Up) officially kicked-off on Thursday with the hot dog supper. Everyone had a great time, with lots of yummy food, and even a bunch of door prizes. I even got new keyed alike (but not keyed like every other camper) locks for my cargo hatch doors. The best part is they were FREE!! Thanks to Mr. Bruce, the owner of Bauer Products. Just click on the linky thing and you will find out all about them.
Thursday was a mostly a "down" day for the gang. I think they all needed a day to just be lazy, nap, talk and what-not. Mr. Mark and Mr. Rob took off to run a couple of errands, became "locationally challenged" for a minute, but arrived back here in plenty of time for the hot dog supper.
Friday the whole gang, Tink, Tank's Mom, furpod people and the Mr. and Mrs. all loaded up in Levi, had breakfast out, and went to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park. They had a blast, and of course Levi got to see all the sights too!
Friday evening was supper at Culver's, a favorite of Trisha's, then the gang all just rode around the Traverse City downtown area. Levi told me they even hit a store where t-shirts, stickers, hats, and even a couple toy pigs were bought. I'm not sure about the pig toys, cause Levi didn't know to much about that either. I'll try to find out more and let you know. I do know it had something to do with some moose's...
And speaking of stickers, Levi told me there are at least a dozen new stickers in his glove compartment from the last few days here in T.C.
This should catch everyone up to this morning. I think I hear people and dogs moving about and even breakfast plans being discussed. So I'd better send you some pictures and get off this computer before Mr. R catches me.
That's about it for today. I'm sure the whole gang will be up to lots of fun things today and I'll be sure to snitch the computer to let you know all about it too. The 2016 ERU is officially over on Sunday, and we'll be starting the long trek (about 980 miles) back to North Carolina soon atferwards.
Until next time, stay safe out there......-Pod and all the gang!!

Where's Wednesday.....
Good Thursday morning all. It's Pod back today with the blogging duties. We've decided we need a time machine, so we can go back at do Wednesday all over again. No because Wednesday was bad, oh no, Wednesday was fabulous, and went by so fast, we just didn't have enough time to get everything done.
The gang's day revolved around food. This included planning the next two meals while eating the current one, stopping by the grocery store to get food to cook, cooking food, and even wondering why Tink wouldn't cook meatballs and noodles, chicken wings, and french fries for dinner.
The day wasn't all about food. Mark, Jackson, and Rob even worked on tink'r-pod. Seems her inverter had an unfortunate incident during a recent camping trip and was messed up. Mark happened to have the part she needed and in about 20 minutes this morning they installed it. Tink'r-pod was told me she was really happy to have this fixed. They also fixed a leaking sink drain, so life in tink'r-pod is good!!
The 2016 Eastern Round-up or ERU officially starts today. Rob promises to walk around at some point and take pictures of the pods.
So while weather wasn't picture perfect, and Rob didn't take many pictures, the weather wasn't so bad either. Here are a few pictures from our day. I hope you enjoy seeing them.
That's about it for this morning. The rumor is Mark is fixing CDO french toast, and Rob is cooking square sausage later. I'm sure there will be pictures. Thanks for checking by today. Be sure to drop back by on to see how our day goes.

Wow it's Wapo.....
Happy Sunday all!! It's Pod here taking over the blogging duties today. And wow, after two days of rolling behind Levi, we're all in Wapakoneta, Ohio! I heard Rob say tomorrow we're only have about about 350 miles left to go, and none of it is on Interstate highways!
Today we left the Clinton/Knoxville, TN KOA about 7:30, followed by tink'r-pod and the Tink herself. Traffic wasn't too bad, but was heavier that we figured it would be for a Sunday. Of course today included the cities of Lexington, KY, Cincinnati, OH, and Dayton, OH. So we encountered construction, bumpy roads, and lots of people driving crazy fast.
I think everyone was happy to get to todays' stop. The temps are in the low 80's, the humidity is low, and there's a great breeze. Tink, Trisha, and Rob all agreed the best part was that the KOA here has a little grill, and they deliver!!
Here's a few pictures from the KOA to tide everyone over for today. Check back tomorrow evening. We should be in Traverse City, MI, have camp set-up, and be in full ERU mode. (The first picture is one Rob took of tink'r-pod in Levi's mirror.)
That's about it for today. Be sure to check back tomorrow to hear more about this year's ERU.

Let's "Load-up"......
Happy Tuesday all!! It's Pod here today with the blogging duties. In case you didn't know, the 2016 ERU (that's Eastern Round-Up for long) is coming up next week. This year it's going to be all the way up in Traverse City, Michigan. Oh wow!! Many, many thanks in advance to Beth and Mark of "arrrr" Pod fame, who are this year's un-leaders.
Anyways, this week has been super busy already. Tomorrow is the last day of classes for Rob and Trisha, then he has one more day to work, and she has two. Also, Trisha, is having to move her classroom this year, along with all the end of school year craziness.
On top of that, my folks have been busy getting ready to leave on Saturday late morning for the trip to T-City.
Over the Memorial Day weekend, I got washed, waxed, bearings greased, tire pressure checked, inside swept, mopped, bathroom washed, new shower curtains, and Rob even went through some of my containers to discard items no longer needed or used.
Levi also got washed and waxed, and this afternoon I watched Rob loading the camping gear into the back of Levi.
You'll notice Big Yeti there. He's been kept cold since about the middle of March (the first camping trip of the season). Rob also got out little yeti, and started his pre-chilling cycle.
I even heard that Trisha already has her clothes mostly packed and ready. The next few days will include finish packing, getting food bought for both Rob's mom and Trisha's dad, meds dispensed for the two of them, friends, neighbors, even the local police on call to keep an eye on them, food supplies for our trip, yard mowed, Levi washed one more time, and even Jackson will get his pre-ERU bath. I'm sure I've forgotten something, but I'm betting Rob has a list of "to-do's" somewhere.
Before you know it though, all the chores will be done, Rob will have me hitched to Levi, and Jackson will be told to "load-up" and we'll be on our way.
So y'all keep your fingers crossed that the last day of school tomorrow won't include Gorilla tape or homicides for Rob and Trisha. Also, be sure to follow along starting Saturday to read about all our fun. We'll be meeting Tink and tink'r-pod in Clinton, TN on Saturday afternoon, then it will be a podvoy all the way to T-City.
Until next time, stay safe out there.....-Pod (for R,T,&J)
