Camping, Stickers, and BBQ......

Happy Sunday afternoon all.  It's Pod here taking care of the blogging duties today.  Seems we've all been camping the last few days, and no-one has taken the time to write a blog post.

The gang have all been off to Townsend, TN to the 10th Blue Ridge T@b and Friends Rally.  If you're a regular follower of our blog, you'll recall we all just got back from Townsend a few weeks ago.  Well this trip was the same town, just a different campground.  We all camped at Big Meadow Campground for a few days to both attend the rally and to hang with friends.  Also, this is Rob's 10th year, so he got an extra special badge.

Rob didn't take many pictures this trip, but he did upload them all to the laptop (which I "borrowed" to write this blog), and here's a couple of my favorites.

The first one is of course a picture of me and my friend Levi, (this is the camping part)......

Next is a picture I had to sneak and take of the stickers Rob bought on this trip.  Everyone be sure and not tell Rob about this picture.....

Here's the BBQ part.  Rob cooked two racks of baby back ribs on the GMG smoker for dinner on Saturday evening.  He told me that Tink, Susie, Mark, Trisha, and he nearly ate them all.  He said the leftovers were sent with Tink for her husband Larry to enjoy......

Since the Rally was a few weeks later this year, it was hot during the daytimes when we were there.  In fact, here's a picture of the GMG's temperature before Rob fired it off to start the ribs......

Rob told me they had a grand old time at the BRR as always and that it was great to hang with some of our friends.

As of now, I'm safely resting in my Pod-Port waiting for my next adventure.  I know Levi is unloaded, I'm betting the laundry is being taken care of, and they've all had lunch.

In just about a month from today, we'll all be pulling out for the Eastern Round-UP.  It's at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.  This is the big Pod "to-do" I get to go to with my gang every year.

Rob told me they have 14 and a 1/2 days of school left, he's having some oral surgery done in June just as soon as school is out, and even though the next few weeks will be busy, to just hang in there and I'll be on the road again soon.

And always, thanks for checking in today, and.....

Until next time, stay safe out there.....-Pod(for the whole gang)
