We had a good, although long, trip from North Carolina yesterday. We pulled out of the pod-port about 8:45 with our Podding friends following right behind.
We rolled into the I-77/US 421 exchange Rest Area about 9:50 where we met up with yet another podding friend and Cousins Sharon, Becky and SplashT@B. Yup, we had us a convoy.....
Then a few hours down the road, we stopped yet again for a comfort stop, and before we knew it, we were all just standing around talking and not driving.
Once in West Virginia, we did make a quick fuel stop, then we stopped at Camp Creek State Park for a wonderful picnic lunch.
One more Comfort Stop, then we rolled into Beech Fork State Park shortly after 4 p.m.
The next couple hours were spent setting up and trying to stay cool. The temperature was somewhere north of HOT. Here's a picture of our campsite Rob took this morning. He was too hot and tired to even do that last evening.
That's all for today. Our blog posts will run a day behind due to a technology issue, but all is well. Be sure to check back tomorrow to find out all about our Thursday.
Until next time, stay safe out there.....-R,T,&J.
Podvoy!
