Stone Mountain State Park, Trip Report.....

Well we did it!! We got our first camping trip of the 2012 season officially in the books!  We went to Stone Mountain State Park in Roaring Gap, NC.  We had been here before, back when we had the old Layton travel trailer.  This campground is only about 1.5 hours from home, so it is a great weekend get away.  


While we did have a rain shower Saturday afternoon, and then we had to jump out of bed at 7:30 am Sunday, break camp, and leave before a rain front, we did have a great time.
