Happy Saturday everyone!! It's Miss Anne blogging here today. I'm back in The Holler until it's time to go home for the winter. That being somewhere around the end of October.
The Mr. brought me back up Thursday morning, and in a very short order, Dennis, Ron, and the Mr. had me back on my site at 23H, all level, and feeling fine!! The Mrs. and Jackson came up Friday mid afternoon, so we're all just hanging in The Holler on a cool somewhat rainy weekend. Since I also had a bath earlier in the week, the Mr. spent a few hours Friday giving me a good wax all over. It sure did fell good too!!!
This weekend is like a last summer fling, cause Monday morning, the Mr. and the Mrs. head off to work to get the school year started, I'll be snoozing up here at 23H, and Jackson will have quality time with his g-ma.
So for the next bit, I'm going to do some remembrances of the summer past.
Whenever the Mr. and Mrs. are in residence, the welcome sign is always out. In fact, this summer saw me hosting several family and friend get togethers. They cooked way too much food, and sat and talked until the street lights came on more than one evening.
And the food, let me tell you about the food. So far just this weekend, it's been fajitas, and a big ole breakfast.....
The Mr. and Mrs. have had a busy summer, and the nice thing about me being already here is they came just come on up, or go home as they need too. Just like this weekend....
Miss Scarlett, a lady with a past, has come to live with us too. And of course, she's become well known this past summer zipping around The Holler.....
She has her very own cart-port for now, and I heard that the Mr. has bought her a very special camo-colored shelter for next season.
Then of course, there's Miss Mollie. She came to live with us at The Holler this summer. She's Cousin Sharon's Oliver travel trailer. She's a beauty, has her own blog, and her bestie, is a yellow golf-cart named GiGi. Here's a pic the Mr. took this morning of them all squared away until Cousin Sharon gets back up to see them again.....
Now the Mr. did some work helping get Miss Mollie all set up, in fact, he even drove Levi along with a very nervous Cousin Sharon all the way to Hohenwald, TN to pick her up and bring her back to The Holler. That was an exciting trip, and I have to tell you, the Mr. was worn out when he got back them both back here.
Now one of the fun things about living with the Mr. and Mrs. is the fact they have things from camping years past with Pod, new things they've bought just for me, and special camping gifts they've received. For instance, their favorite camping sign ever......
That's a part of my front flag pole.....
I even got to leave The Holler this summer for a week long adventure with my gang and the cousins Sharon and Becky to the Outer Banks (OBX) of North Carolina.
Now I know this post has been a little on the longish side, but lemme tell you, it's been a jam packed summer, and I happen to know the Mr. and Mrs. have Christmas, Spring Break, and OBX trips all planned already and of course I'll be back in The Holler come May 2019. So let me leave you with a few more pics of Summer 2018 to enjoy.....
So, as you can see, it's been a great summer, the Mr. and Mrs. will be back up to see me weekends, and they will have plenty to do to keep themselves busy looking after everyone and everything.
The Mr. said to thank everyone for tagging along this summer with us, and.....
Until next time, stay safe out there......-Miss Anne and The Gang.....

Ocracoke Day Trip.....
Good evening all. It's Miss Anne back with another blog post. For this post I had a lot of help from Levi. He took Jackson, the Mr. and Mrs. and cousins Sharon and Becky on a day trip to Ocracoke Island.
He was kinda excited telling me about it all, which seemed strange cause I've never known Levi to get excited about much. But when he told me about taking a boat (ferry) ride not once but twice, then I begin to see why he was so excited.
So let me back up just a bit here. Seems my gang was up on the edge of daylight, showered, dressed, and out the door about 7:00 to meet the cousins. They were at the ferry dock shortly thereafter where they missed being able to load the ferry by the skin of Levi's rod rack (Rod for short). Seems the whole combo was just too long for the space left.
It's ok though, they were on then next ferry an hour or so later and the adventure began. After a 60 minute ferry ride, then a 15 mile drive to Ocracoke Village, the gang found breakfast, then Levi said the best part was he got to rest cause the Mr. rented a six-person golf cart to explore the island. Levi said that was great by him cause those roads in the village were skinny and crowed. Seems he doesn't do either very well.
Our gang toured the village, did some shopping, the Mr. scored some stickers and a PIRATE flag for my flag pole!!! The cart had a 2:30 return, and since it was just too hot to eat outside because of having Jackson along, they all loaded back up in Levi, drove back to the ferry, just missing the one leaving by about three minutes, and were shortly parked in the very front of the next one to leave.
After the Mr. and Mrs. both took a quick shower, they were back in Levi, leaving a worn out puppy in my care. Levi said they picked up the cousins, went out to eat, rode on the beach and stopped for ice cream. Whew!!! What a day. I was able to grab a few pictures from the Mr's iPhone and camera to share with everyone tonight.
I'm not sure what's on tap for tomorrow just yet, but I bet it won't involve getting up before the Sun!!! Anyways, check back here in a day or two to find out all about it.
Until next time, stay safe out there......-Miss Anne and The Gang.
