What a Busy Vacation This Has Been.......

Happy Tuesday evening everyone.  Wow!  What a busy couple of days we've had here.  First of all, the weather has been great!  That may change, but that's ok too.

The last two days have included, sight-seeing, driving by the Gay Dolphin, a Myrtle Beach landmark, a visit to Murrells Inlet Seafood, Trisha breaking a crown, Rob's trusty Nikon Model D60 deciding to half-die, visiting Camping World, the Hammocks Shop at Pawley's Island, t-shirt and sticker shopping, cooking and eating way too much food, and in general acting like we're on a great vacation.  Not to mention Mark and Rob cooking desserts for supper in their Camping Dutch Ovens and earning even more patches for their CDO aprons.   We won't even talk about Mark and Rob helping former pod friend Kevin take down the awning on his camper destroyed this morning by a wind gust.

Since Rob's Nikon decided to only kinda work, he's been using his iPhone to take pictures.  So, he just hasn't taken as many pictures as normal, nor are the pictures as good or so at least Rob thinks.

Here are a few pictures of the last two days, in no particular order.  See if you can guess what we were doing, or not doing.

Thanks for checking by today.  We've had crock pots going all day for dinner, but we ate a lunch that was just a little huge so I'm not sure what we will do for dinner.

Until next time, stay safe out there......-R,T,&J.

A Three Dog Day......

Greeting from the coast of South Carolina.  We're camping this week with friends Susie and Mark of furpod fame, and friend Kevin (a former Podder) here at Huntington Beach State Park.

We all left home Saturday morning about 11:00 a.m., had a great drive down, and arrived here about 3:30 p.m.   Check-in was quick and painless, and the next hour or so was spent setting up camp.

We all loaded up in Levi along with a former Podder friend Kevin and stuck out for supper.  We wound up at Five Guys Burger and Fries, mainly because the Inlet Crab House had a 30-40 minute wait.

When we got back from supper, the moon was putting on a show for us.

Some of the crew went to bed at a normal time, a couple of us stayed up till nearly midnight chatting, but we all had a great evening.

Today (Sunday), included a breakfast under the Cottonwood of eggs, bacon, and biscuits.  Followed by a trip out of Murrells Inlet Seafood to grab some goodies for supper.

The rest of the day can best be classified as a "Three Dog Day."

That is to say, our day was largely spent watching the dogs, petting the dogs, walking the dogs, and even a nap for one or two of the dog's people.

So far it's been a great day here.  Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what's been going on at the coast.

Until next time, stay safe out there.....-R,T,&J.
