Pod Butts You Betcha......

Happy Saturday morning everyone!!  It is indeed a very happy day for us, because we're camping.  As all of our family and friends know, since the last camping trip, life just fell all over us.  That's why we've not blogged since early in September, but never fear, for we're back now.

You're most likely asking what does a Pod Butt have to do with anything?  Well it was the beautiful sight we saw last night as Rob fixed Taco Pie for supper and we enjoyed the crisp beautiful evening at Arrowhead Campground, located in the Uwharrie National Forest, just outside of scenic Eldorado, NC.  Just check it out.....

Isn't that just a beautiful sight to behold!  And to be fair to Pod who isn't too crazy at all about this picture, we'll include a picture of our entire campsite which Rob took this morning.  Not too bad at all.

This is a great little NFS campground only about 40 miles from home.  It only has electric hook-ups, but the bath house is very nice.  The campground is nearly full this weekend too.  Seems that off-roading, mudding, shooting, and horse-back riding are all popular around these parts.

After our taco pie for supper, we settled in for a quiet evening.
